Jennifer Sebasigari

Jennifer Sebasigari is a professional chef based out of Houston Texas, born on March 3rd, 1989 in Bujumbura, Burundi. At the age of 12, the French native-speaking chef and her family moved to the USA. Her first culinary experience was at 10 years old in Langy, Cameroon in a refugee camp, where she prepared a family meal for her parents and siblings of five.

Chef Jenny attended Leander High School where she obtained a high school diploma. In 2014, Jenny did a lot of soul-searching. At the age of 25, she decided to take on her culinary skills as a career. Enrolled in the local culinary school where she spent two years working and studying hands on hands with some of the best chefs at Le Cordon Blue College of Culinary Arts in Austin, Texas. She enjoyed her experience in culinary school and achieved the dean's list from Le Cordon Blue. July 30, 2016, Jennifer Sebasigari graduated with an Associate degree in Science of Culinary Arts.

In February 2016, Chef Jenny relocated to Orlando, Florida where she landed an internship at Walt Disney Park and Resorts in Orlando Florida. She worked at five different restaurants inside the famous parks Including Liberty Tree Traven in Magic Kingdom and Tusker House in Animal Kingdom. In Late 2016, Jennifer returned to Houston Texas where she landed her first job out of college at the number one restaurant in Houston, Texas Oxheart. Jennifer Sebasigari spent her time at Oxheart working side by side with James Beard Award recipient Justin Yu.

Jennifer is establishing her business Jennyonthego365 in Houston, Texas, providing catering services, engaging in pop-up restaurants, providing cooking lessons, and creating charity events with local and international chefs such as Karen Man, Kelly Helgesen, Chef James Robinson, Chef Gil, Houston Astro Chef Devown Hines and many more.

In March 2017, Chef Jenny started working for a food truck manufacturing company named Chef Units doing sales and human resources. After a year of working in the food truck industry, Jenny decided to create Jennandthejuice in May 2018. Jennandthejuice is a juice company based in Houston, Texas that provides cold-pressed fruits and vegetable juices that are 100% all-natural with no water, sugar, preservatives, or spices added. She was inspired to develop her line of five juices by the time she spent working at Oxheart and La Condensa in Austin, Texas. In 2019 she worked at the Marriott Marquise in downtown Houston where she was offered to showcase her cooking on Fox 26 a local news outlet. That same year she was offered to bring her talents to the food and wine festival which she was blessed to attract the biggest crowd for her one-of-a-kind taco’s. Also, Jennifer's talents got her to bring her culinary flare to “My City My Way an Essence Festival” recruited by James Roberson of Kitchen Cray. Jennyonthego365 entered in 2020 by working with Fox TV Anchorman with “Brunch Body and Soul.”

Jennifer looks to expand her brand worldwide and continue growing in experience as 2020 progresses with her unique international cuisines by interviewing culinary legends on her show on IGTV called Behind the Kitchen. In the Late summer of 2020, Chef Jennifer had already partnered with more than twenty major culinary brands in the industry by creating content or blogging. The biggest partnership is with Gotze Peelers, the Swiss company where she is the face of the brand and was able to open an additional location at the Woodlands Mall where she is physically selling the products.

2021 is looking like a very promising year for the chef, she will be one of the speakers for a TEDx in mid-summer and also will continue to expand her brand and make a difference.
